Fairytale World

The Evil Queen Regina is a powerful, terrifying woman. Of moderate height and build, she doesn't immediately look threatening. To the contrary, she is a beautiful woman with olive skin and dark eyes. Her attire is no less than opulent, elegant, and showy. She has a certain charisma that some find intoxicating. She also rips out literal hearts while they are still beating, and keeps them in boxes.

The Queen is one of the most powerful practicers of magic in the Enchanted Forest. So far, she's shown an ability to teleport short distances, transform her looks, summon fire, control certain elements, and, oh yes, did we mention the part about ripping out hearts? She also dabbles in curses. One such Dark Curse has entrapped the whole of the Enchanted Forest in a horrible alternate universe.

Storybrooke

Regina Mills is the mayor of Storybrooke, and one of a very limited number of people who knows what's going on. She's almost always dressed sharply in business attire, fine pressed suits, clean lines. While there have been no overt displays of magic in Storybrooke, her power is still incontestable, her influence absolute. And, most importantly, little Snow is forever kept from her happily ever after.

There's only one problem. Regina's adopted son, Henry, has found his birth mother. And she may be the only person alive who can break the curse.
